We had a battle to get Leah to leave. they had so much fun and sam picked out the pumpkin that she is holding.

So Thomas's first unofficial birthday party. It was a costume party and we all had to dress up. Of course Leah wanted to be dora and she wanted us to dress up with her. I wanted to find a baby jaguar costume for sam but i looked everywhere and couldn't find one so she had to be a bobo instead. good food lots of fun with family and friends.

My dad came out to visit us for 5 days and we had so much fun exploring and dancing and hiking and seeing the lake.

At last in mommy's arms. She did such a great job and i am so proud of her. She puked twice yesterday once all over the car and once at about 2 this morning. She ate this morning like she was starving. poor thing. right now she is crawling around and she is eating everything in sight including my cereal and Leah's. Oh and it's snowing up here!

surgery update

I just wanted to let everyone know that Sam came through her surgery great. She did such a good job. I will post more later with a few pictures but i have to go take care of my baby for now..thanks to everyone for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers...

Ok i swear this is not staged it really happened. And I was sleeping next to them too.. I really don't think it gets any cuter. my two hernia babies, how ironic....

The race for the cure

I did the race for the cure this weekend. In celebration of my grandmother who is one of my closest friends and i love her so much. I ended up earning $375. thank you everyone who supported me. This was for such a good cause and really hits home for me.

I just joined facebook and it's crazy how many people are out there. There are friends from High school that i haven't seen or heard from since we graduated. It's crazy. I still reserve this blog to only the very special people in my life though. The kids have had colds for the last week so i haven't been doing much other than wipping noses. I did come across the most amazing nose sucker you will ever use. it's called the nose frida from sweden and it's amazing. It works so good. sucks the the snot right out of there...every mother should own one really. that's the highlight of my life really...We are going to a wedding on sat. and then i do the race for the cure on sunday...busy weekend but it should be fun...
