Pictures with Santa

So Leah didn't want to have anything to do with santa this year. But we started with Jay and then added in Sammy and Leah. So last year Leah told santa she wanted an elephant( which i thought was totally random) and this year she wanted a ariel snow globe like abbi's and a rainbow choo choo train with purple on it!( another total random) so where am i going to find a rainbow train? it just cracks me up the things she comes up with.

John Jay

well i wish i could post a picture but i can't get the pictures off the camera, sorry! We welcomed john jay on thursday nov. 5th. at 1:18pm. He weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and 19 in. long. everything went well and we are just home adjusting to a new life. I will post a picture soon!

I went to the ob yesterday and we are officially scheduled for an induction on Thursday morning at 6am. I am so excited, i didn't even get butterflies or anything, i guess that is the true test to being done when you aren't even nervous. I took my dog to the vet yesterday also, to find out that she too will be having babies and is due in 1-2 weeks. So i will have 1newborn, 2 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a litter of puppies, does that sound like insanity or what! God give me the strength and patience for all of this!
And a big happy birthday to my first born today! Leah is 4 today! I love you baby girl!

I officially have 2 weeks left till the little guy gets here, if he decides to wait that long. I am very excited for him to get here and for this pregnancy to be over! I would like for him to wait another week though, i am out a pediatrician and an ob both are out on maternity leave so i'm kindof screwed right now. my ob will be back on the 2nd but my pediatrician is out till december so that sucks. Just hope he waits till at least the second to bless us with his presence. will post more when he gets here!

Leah's 4th Birthday!

sorry i haven't posted in so long. I lost my camera and after searching for an entire week i have found it. thank you god! so i posted a few pictures and hopefully pretty soon i will have baby pictures to post. Not too much going on here, just running around like an idiot trying to get everything done before the baby comes and tearing my house apart trying to nest. you know the usual crazy pregnant lady stuff. 6 weeks and counting.

Sammy's second birthday!

sorry it's taken me so long! we had a low key party this year. i spent the morning crying about it being 1 year since i lost my precious kobe. so we kept it simple this year. small bbq and of course an ice cream cake!

Here it is, my first pregnancy picture so far, this time! 6months...

Ready for this

Okay so here's my story. One day I was shaving my legs about a month ago and felt something on the back of my leg, so i got out of the shower and looked in the mirror to see what the hell was going on back there. To my surprise I had a varicos vein running mid calf all the way to my butt and bulging pretty good and a blood clot, this was alarming i thought. So when i went in for my ob apointment I showed the dr. who confirmed that was i was seeing was right. Hate to do this to you in summer but you are going to have to wear compression stockings for the rest of your pregnancy, great I thought. Then i came to the realization that i was still able to walk and chase kids so what did i really have to complain about. So I went to the pharmacy got measured and they referred me to another place to order them. They came in and I struggled with them and was miserable but still wore them. Then thank god the damn things got a run in them so i took them back to the place where i ordered them from and said these things are really aweful and now after 3 weeks they have holes in them, can you replace them? I looked online before i had ordered them and i know they are over $100 a pair. I told her they were so tight and that they were cutting in on my belly and that when i took them off the baby would start rolling and moving like crazy....Well they shouldn't be riding right there, and i said that as soon as i took them off my vein would fill instantly with blood and would be uncomfortable...Well that shouldn't be happening either...I said lets go in the back and i will pull them down and show you...so we went in the back and i showed her and she measured me again... then said get those tights off of you right now. the person who had measured me had miss measured me by 4 in. around the thighs. Ok people 4 in. around the thighs is a huge difference. So i went from a size 3 to a size 6. Needless to say the baby is much happier now and so am i. I can actually breathe now, what a concept. I am still hotter than shit with compression hose that go from my toes to my boobs, but i'm dealing and sealing the deal that this is definitely the last kid. and that's my story, so if you think your hot this summer be reminded of me and know you are no where near as hot as I am, i promise you that.

Carolyn

So my friend just seemed to wake up yesterday and start talking even with the trach. I am so thankful and proud of her. I have been so down in the dumps for two weeks now and my heart so heavy it hurt, now i could scream yeah to the world. Thank you God for all the miracles you give to us you are trully appreciated each and every day.

If you read my blog, will you please take the time to say an extra prayer for my friend Carolyn. She is still in critical condition and I am just praying she will pull through. She needs all the love and support she can get. Thanks!
